Part space station, part stealthy amplifier.

I still have my Rega P3 (2000) and it works as well today as it did when I bought it 17 years ago. To my mind, the P3 is a Genuine HiFi Bargain.

That’s right, a suite! that includes the new ARIES G2.2, VEGA G2.2, ARIES G3 and VEGA G3.

The new NAD M66 stuffs the kit and caboodle (BluOS streaming/DAC/MM Phono/Preamp/Dirac Live Room Correction/Dirac Live Bass Control) in a sleek touchscreen-endowed package.

Let’s face it: Bluesound hit it out of the proverbial hifi park with the original NODE DAC/Streamer that balanced price & performance rivaling peanut butter & jelly. OK, maybe that’s going too far. But some people still want a better NODE.

Goldmund teased the hifi world with their flagship Gaïa Active Speakers last year at Munich High End, but the Swiss company has recently shared, “Our majestic, elegant and powerful new Gaïa speakers have finally risen from the earth.” Totem-like (I said that).

Same great taste, less filling.

High End Munich 2023 is just 10 days away. Of all the hifi shows around, and there are more than I can count these days, Munich is my favorite.

I just received this official statement from Audio Research that offers some clarity on their state of affairs and prospects for the future. I’m sure everyone joins me in wishing this 53-year old company a bright future.
