I still have my Rega P3 (2000) and it works as well today as it did when I bought it 17 years ago. To my mind, the P3 is a Genuine HiFi Bargain.
The UK-based company recently introduced the world to the 50th Anniversary Edition of this hifi classic, decked out in a walnut effect finish and fitted with the company’s RB330 Precision tonearm, factory fitted handmade Rega Exact moving magnet cartridge, and a hand tuned Neo PSU MK2 external Speed Change / Power Supply.
From Rega:
The drive system uses our Reference EBLT drive belt and our 24V motor fitted with a custom CNC’d aluminium drive pulley to deliver the absolute best in performance and accuracy.
The first batch of Rega P3s hit the market, hard, in 1973 and I say long live the P3! The 50th Anniversary Edition will only be sold this year and comes with a USD price of $1695.
