The new totaldac sub-d100 subwoofer was designed to compliment the company’s d100 speakers, extending their bottom end reach, in room, to a reported 18Hz.
The sub-d100 subwoofer uses a pair of 12″ neodymium drivers, the same bass driver as found in the company’s d100 floor standing speakers (that are here for review). The sub-d100’s baltic birch ply cabinet is also the same size and shape as the d-100 speakers, so they even match in appearance.

The sub-d100 employs an external crossover that sits between the amplifier’s output and the sub-d100’s XLR input. totaldac recommends using their Amp-1 amplifier in monobloc version (1000W) as the best matching amplifier.

The totaldac sub-d100 subwoofer is available now.
