Germany’s Rekkord Turntables Have Arrived in North America

Hand-made in the Black Forest, Rekkord Turntables are built in the same precision machining and clock-making factory the company founder first opened in 1907.

The Rekkord lineup of fully automatic, semi-automatic, and manual turntables consists of 6 models, priced from $369 for the F100 to the top of the line M600 at $1499.

Rekkord F100 ($369)

The entry F100 is a fully automatic ‘table with an 8.3” weight-balanced tonearm, 33/45 RPM DC motor, fixed counterweight, and comes with an Audio Technica AT3600L cartridge pre-mounted.

The top of the line manual M600 sports an 8.6” aluminum tonearm, 4-way ball cardan bearing with VTA setting, E(asy)motion Wire Inner tonearm cabling, optional preadjusted Ortofon Quintet Red MC cartridge, stiff carbon fiber headshell, heavy aluminum sandwich platter, internal platter damping + a copper mass ring, brass platter bearing with Teflon mirror, 33/45/78 RPM electronic regulated DC motor, vibration-damped wooden sub-chassis, belt drive with polished flat belt, and a viscosity-damped tonearm lift.
