High End Munich 2024 is shaping up to be chock full of must-hear gear and I’ll add totaldac’s new d120 speakers to my list.
The 2.5 way horn-loaded d120 use the same drivers and crossovers as totaldac’s d110 speakers but house them in a new curved cabinet that’s made from solid wood, sourced from France, inside and out. Think rigid.
The d120 sport a pair of 12″ woofers per side along with the constant directivity horn used only above 3KHz for the 1 inch compression mid/tweeter driver. Frequency response is rated at 25Hz (-6dB in room) – 24kHz with a stated efficiency of 98dB (@ 1m @ 2.83V) and 8 Ohm average impedance.
The new d120 speakers will be on active display in a complete totaldac system at High End Munich 2024 in Atrium 4.1 room F123 and cost €70,000/pair incl VAT in Europe and €66,000/pair excl VAT out of Europe.

The d120 is the very high end speaker of Totaldac, made to develop the electronics and to demo a full system.
It will be used at the Munich High End show in May 2024, in Atrium 4.1 room F123, in a 100% Totaldac system.
These speakers are made of pure solid wood (from France), with oil finish for the cabinet, the horn is made of solid wood as well, the compression driver back chamber is made of solid wood as well and even more exceptional the driver frame is also made of wood for an even better sound.
It uses the same drivers and same crossover as the d110 but the cabinet is much more complex, internally and externally.
The design is curved in 3D for a better response to the acoustic waves, the inside is completely covered with wooden diffusors, the cabinet is much thicker with no parallel walls, more reinforced and is visually more appealing.
The sound is ultra real with this speaker, making you simply enjoy all musics, forgetting the system.
