Technics have married a CD player, streamer, phono preamp, and integrated amplifier into one compact package. Who says you can’t have it all?
The new Technics SA-C600 Compact Network CD Receiver offers 60 Watts of full-digital amplification, which incorporates the company’s JENO Engine (Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimization) as found in the impressive Technics SU-R1000 (review), a top-loading CD player, USB, Coax, Toslink, line level RCA and MM Phono inputs, Subwoofer output, as well as support for Chromecast built-in, AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Spotify Connect, TIDAL (w/MQA decoding), Deezer, Amazon Music, and Internet Radio / DAB / FM. Just add speakers (and turntable and records). Who says you can’t have it all?
Technics has also included their Space-Tune DSP engine, accessed through the Technics Audio Centre app for tablets and smartphones, that offers various EQ options depending on where the SA-C600 sits in your place.
The SA-C600 is part of the company’s Premier Class line and its looks are meant to match Technics turntables in terms of color, texture, and dimensions.
The Technics SA-C600 Compact Network CD Receiver will be available in February 2022 with an MSRP of $999.
