That’s right, not one but two, each less than three. Schiit Audio has recently released the new Rekkr and Gjallarhorn Class A/B “Speaker Amps” coming in at $149 and $299 respectively.

The diminutive Rekkr that offers 2 Watts of output power into 8 Ohms (3 W into 4 Ohms) but you can also run a pair in mono mode for double the power.
From Schiit:
It [Rekkr] features an exotic, fully discrete, current feedback gain stage, beefy 10A rated output devices, and a fully linear power supply—including stacked rails for greater efficiency and 12,000uF of filter capacitance.
While Schiit sees the Rekkr mainly as a desktop amp, high (like 95db+ high) efficiency speaker owners may want to try a pair for tiny, budget friendly power.

The larger, but still small, Gjallarhorn ups the power output to 10 Watts into 8 Ohms (30W into 4 Ohms), while doubling up to a mono pair nets 30 Watts into 8 Ohms.
From Schiit:
It [Gjallarhorn] features an exotic, fully discrete, current feedback gain stage with our exclusive Continuity S™ output stage, as well as a fully linear power supply—including a toroidal transformer with stacked rails and 30,000uF of filter capacitance.
Both amps are designed and built in Texas and are available for purchase from the Schiit website, with the Rekkr shipping in one to two weeks while the Gjallarhorn ships now.
