Woof! I wanted a speaker in Barn for review that enjoys some power from the accompanying amplifier and one that might fill the Barn, from top to bottom, with some powerful music. Enter the Dynaudio Contour 60i.

As you can also read about in the specs below, the Contour 60i are a > 4′ tall, 119 lbs. (a piece) three-way that houses the company’s famous, like a rock star famous, Esotar 2i tweeter with Hexis (trickled down from the flagship Dynaudio Confidence line), a dedicated 15cm midrange driver, and a pair of 23cm woofers adding up to a claimed frequency response from 28Hz (+/- 3 dB) to 23kHz (+/- 3 dB).
Featuring twin ports, a single pair of speaker binding posts around back, and a multi-layer curved cabinet and solid aluminum front baffle, the Contour 60i look the part of a Barn-filling brute.
Of course delicacy and dance are are on every speaker’s check list so I can’t wait to put these big Dynaudio’s through their paces.
