I rarely go anywhere.
It’s just true but when I do go somewhere it’s always in my car where I typically tune into WPRB, the Princeton radio station at 103.3 FM on the dial so portable sound isn’t on my radar outside of my trusty (old) Sony WH-1000X M3 noise cancelling headphones for air travel.
But FiiO’s new Snowsky Tiny Portable DACs, which come in Tiny A and Tiny B versions, are too tiny and inexpensive to ignore.
Packed inside that little CNC-machined aluminum body is a host of tiny tech including a 10-Band Parametric Equalizer controlled via the FiiO Control app for Android or via a browser-based interface, a DAC that supports PCM resolutions up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD256, and a headphone amp capable of driving two sets of ‘phones in the B version.
FiiO’s Snowsky Tiny Portable DAC & Headphone Amplifiers are available from authorized resellers (for $19.99) and Amazon (for $21.99) (I rounded).
