I recently showed up, virtually, for some pints with Ayre to discuss Listening Tests. I don’t know about you, but I crave a beer whenever I hear the word test when it comes to hifi.
I don’t have much to add to what’s in the footage below but I will provide more information about my chosen beer below. Enjoy!
The Beer
Kane Brewing‘s Head High India Pale Ale is my favorite beer these days. I find it to be nicely balanced for an IPA — not too tart, not too hoppy, not too peaty with a nice hint of fruit — and with an ABV of 6.6%, not too heavy. The only down side is its kinda hard to find, even here in NJ where Kane lives. But that just makes it all the more special (I know a few places that have it on tap and one sorta-local place that carries the 4-pack pint cans).
