The new Klipsch Jubilee Loudspeakers ($35,000/pair) are monstrously large, monstrously fun, and monstrously thrilling to listen to. Standing well over 5′ tall and over 4′ wide and reaching down to 18Hz, they easily energized the monstrously large room they occupied. Woof!
A pair of Rotel’s (giant) Michi S5 bi-amped Stereo Amplifiers ($7499.99/each) supplied the power, while a Michi P5 Control Amplifier ($4299) took control of the signal. The MoFi Fender PrecisionDeck Turntable ($3495) was not in use while I was trying really hard not to dance, so my listening was done with a Roon Nucleus (starts at $1495) using the Rotel Preamp’s DAC. The entire system was wired up with the Mythical Creatures cables from AudioQuest and an AudioQuest Niagara 5000 Power Conditioner ($5500) cleaned up the power.
I’d like to imagine that the Jubilee would have made Paul W. Klipsch smile. Woof!
