The new Silent Angel Rhein Z1 Plus Server improves on the original with a number of upgrads while offering the ability to simultaneously supply up to 10 audio outputs.
Upgrades includes a faster processor, more RAM and Storage capacity, internal TCXO clocks, an external Word Clock input, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, a UBC-C port, as well as the addition of a number of techniques to eliminate noise including EMI noise-filtering technology. The Rhein Z1 Plus Server can act as Roon Server while feeding your streamer of choice via its Gigabit Ethernet output or use its USB Audio out straight into your DAC of choice (using Roon Bridge).
The Silent Angel server runs on VitOS, which supports Roon, Spotify Connect, Apple’s AirPlay 2, Tidal, Qobuz, and more. Due to its increased processing power, you can also run HQPlayer NAA Player for those who prefer to massage their bits. You can also opt to include up to 4TB of NVMe SSD storage to house your music library.
The Rhein Z1 Plus Server is housed in an Aircraft Grade aluminum chassis that comes in black and silver and will be available beginning March 15, 2023 with an MSRP starting at $3,199.
