There are many ways to approach turntable design and Rega has their very own, originating in the Rega Planet introduced in 1973.
The press release for the new Rega Replay adds “skeletal design” to the title and that ‘skeletal’ bit provides more than a hint at the company’s low mass approach.
And the Replay’s $395 price tag includes Rega’s latest generation RB110 tonearm, a Rega Carbon MM cartridge, a custom white mat, RCA ICs, and a removable dust cover. The Replay is handmade in England. Boom!
Getting a turntable/tonearm/cartridge from a well respected company with more than 50 years experience in turntable design strikes me as great news.
The $395 Rega Replay is expected to hit the US shores in December 2026. Pre-orders are available now from authorized dealers.
