TEAC was created in 1953 by a merger between the Tokyo Television Acoustic Company and the Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company.
Today, the company has 4 divisions which include TASCAM, ESOTERIC, TEAC, and Data Storage and Disk Publishing Products. TEAC takes care us of hifi consumers as does Esoteric albeit at the higher end.
The upcoming TEAC HA-507 Reference 500 Series Pure Analog Headphone Amplifier/Preamp tells us a lot already as the HA-507 functions as both an analog preamp as well as a headphone amp. You can see the 4 headphone jacks up front—balanced XLR 4-pin and 4.4 mm Pentaconn, and unbalanced 6.3 mm and 3.5 mm—to suit all your ‘phones needs. Behind the scenes, the HA-507 offers 2.3 W + 2.3 W (into 32 Ω) and 6.7W+ 6.7 W (into32 Ω) of output power.
Around back reside the preamp ins and outs with both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA connections.
Those Trigger connections com in handy when the HA-507 is paired with the matching Reference 500 Series power amplifier for a smallish (11 1/2″ wide) stack. Oh, and. . .meters!
The TEAC HA-507 Reference 500 Series Pure Analog Headphone Amplifier/Preamp will be available beginning January 2025 for $1999.

TEAC Launches the Reference 500 Series Pure Analog Headphone Amplifier/Preamp HA-507
TEAC Corporation (TOKYO: 6803) is proud to announce the HA-507, a Reference 500 Series pure analog headphone amplifier/preamplifier that incorporates TEAC’s premium audio technologies to achieve the highest level of sound quality.
Equipped with an extensive power supply circuit, the HA-507 has exceptional headphone driving power and an extremely wide frequency response that cannot be imagined from its compact appearance. When connected to the TRDD 5 discrete DAC, model UD-507, you can create a special headphone playback system with separate digital and analog sections.
The HA-507 is a no-compromise headphone amplifier that can also be used as a pure analog preamplifier. When paired with a Reference 500 Series power amplifier, you can create a compact yet full-featured separate amplifier system that further enhances the quality of your loudspeaker listening experience.
