How big is big? (and no)
To put big in show perspective, Axpona 2026 had a reported 235 listening rooms, 750 manufacturers, and 12,546 attendees which is about half the size of High End Vienna 2026 for the first and last metric. And Axpona is a big show.
High End Vienna 2026 kicks off on Thursday, June 4th (for trade visitors) and runs through Sunday for 4 days of all the hifi you can eat. As is evident in the name, High End has moved from Munich to Vienna and I’m sorry to say I will not be attending even though Vienna is a place I’ve always wanted to see for the Bruegels at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, the Egon Schiele Museum, and all the Loos architecture (and a cocktail or 2 at the Loos Bar) to name a few highlights. Vienna remains on my ‘some day’ list.
