Canadian manufacturer MACO Sound Bootique will be playing their MACARIA Open Baffle Speakers in two rooms at the upcoming Capital Audiofest.
MACO teased with a static display of the MACARIA at last year’s CAF, while the open baffle speakers saw their official launch at Axpona 2024.
The MACARIA are a two-way open baffle design using a pair of 15 inch MACO paper cone drivers while baffle options are offered in Stone (Granite or Quartz), Thermal Treated Wood (Walnut, Ash, and Maple), and Birch Ply with prices starting at $6,332 (Birch Ply).
Here’s the press release from MACO:
Experience the much-talked-about MACARIA by MACO® open-baffle loudspeaker made in Canada, at CAPITAL AUDIOFEST (CAF) 2024, taking place at the Hilton Rockville, Maryland, from November 8-10, 2024.
You can find MACO® in two rooms on the 6th floor:
Room 609 with Geshelli Labs
Room 615 with VIABLUE™, Trafomatic and LampizatOr
The MACARIAS have garnered significant recognition for their exceptional design and immersive sound quality, following their standout unveiling at CAF 2023, where they first captured the attention of the audiophile community. With only a static display showcasing the prototype, yet-to-be-released MACARIAS one year ago, returning to CAF this year with two full-demonstration rooms marks a pivotal moment for MACO®, bringing the journey full circle.
Since CAF 2023, the MACARIAS officially launched at AXPONA 2024 this past April, and have sold and been delivered to customers in North America and worldwide, solidifying their place in the audiophile market. MACO® maintains a direct-to-consumer model, while also working to establish Listening Rooms with MACO® Ambassadors across continental USA, to provide additional opportunities for people to experience the MACARIAS firsthand outside of audio shows.
