Style and substance from the 1970s.
Bang & Olufsen will be offering just 95 “recreated” 4000c Turntables, which are refurbished and updated for a select few.
Bang & Olufsen’s Beogram 4000c Recreated Limited Edition sources 95 original units of this most iconic of turntables – marking our 95th year of creating remarkable experiences – restoring them for contemporary sound systems, while maintaining the timeless spirit at their core.
The belt-drive 4000c’s tangential tracking tonearm remains, mounted with the B&O SMMC 20 CL cartridge (Moving Micro Cross principle) while the updated package adds a built in RIAA pre-amplifier with hard-wired line level (RCA) and 3.5mm output.

The 4000c, a symphony in oak, stainless steel, and aluminum, will spin your 33.3 and 45rpm vinyl pretty much automatically with automatic pickup movement, automatic record-size, automatic speed selection, and an Electronic lift system.
Initially offered in Europe exclusively (for now), the B&O 4000c will be available in late October for $11,000 (€10,000).
