It was only after I dove in beyond a single song that I realized how deep the waters of Olivia O’s Telescope run.
Don’t let the causal crumpled attitude fool you—there’s some fine song-making on Telescope, released in 2025, and Olivia Osby exhibits a restlessness that translates into unexpected moments throughout the album’s captivating 47 minutes.
I’m reminded of more than a few favorites including Aldous Harding and Joanne Robertson and if you know those artists I would say that Telescope fits in somewhere in between.
