I dare say Carrier’s Rhythm Immortal may be another 2025 Audiophile Recording of the Year.
And I only have 1/2 my tongue in cheek.
There are times, more times these days, when I want music to take me away. Away to somewhere I’ve not been and don’t really recognize like a mini listen-cation.
I’ve been Rhythm Immortal adjacent with works from Kevin Richard Martin in all his guises, Raime and others but this work is something other, something else and I’ve been careening around its vastness for a while now and have yet to find the edges.
