The CANTA Series Phono Preamplifier (pictured) is the first to arrive with production units shipping at the end of September, 2026. The CANTA Phono Preamplifier supports both MM and MC cartridges in “a fully discrete, dual-mono architecture with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA connectivity, a discrete JFET [transconductance/transimpedance] input stage, high-precision RIAA equalization, and a Belleson super-regulated power supply.”
The CANTA Phono Pre is machined from a solid block of aluminum like the BRAMA Series components and sports a high-res display where you can see and select the appropriate load and gain settings for your cartridge.

The CANTA Integrated Amplifier will be announced in September, the CANTA Preamplifier in October, and the CANTA Stereo Power Amplifier in November.
I reviewed the BRAMA Integrated Amplifier in September of 2024 and concluded:
“…the Vinnie Rossi Brama integrated amp declared itself to be among my favorites, admittedly soon after it arrived.”
And yes, I’ve already put in my review request for the CANTA Integrated.

CANTA Phono Preamplifier to begin shipping in September, with a complete line of CANTA components to follow.
Greenwood Village, Colorado — August 20, 2026 — VinnieRossi® is pleased to introduce the new CANTA Series, a family of high-performance audio components that brings the company’s distinctive approach to musical reproduction to a broader audience.
The first product in the series, the CANTA Phono Preamplifier, was showcased this month at the Hong Kong and Taipei audio shows. Production is now underway, with the first units scheduled to begin shipping at the end of September.
The CANTA Phono Preamplifier features a fully discrete, dual-mono architecture with balanced XLR and single-ended RCA connectivity, a discrete JFET input stage, high-precision RIAA equalization, and a Belleson super-regulated power supply. Designed for both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges, it offers flexible cartridge loading and a switchable high-pass filter.
With its combination of performance, flexibility, and refined design, the CANTA Phono Preamplifier serves as a natural bridge between the CANTA and BRAMA Series. It can be paired seamlessly with electronics from either line, allowing listeners to incorporate CANTA’s analog performance into a BRAMA system or build a complete CANTA system around it.
