Lists. I love ’em but the longer they get the less useful they become. After all, a list of 10 has much more mojo than a list of 100.
Or 1,000 which raises the question—when does a list become an inventory?
These questions, along with others, has brought me to the Bird. Some of these other questions have to do with value, something our list of Favorites did not address. Until now!
Therein lies the TM Value Bird.
Beginning already, our Favorite lists of Digital, Amplifiers, and Speakers now include the TM mascot, the Value Bird, in front of those products that represent exceptional value—price+performance—in my opinion, of course, which is why I call these lists Favorites not “Bests”. I’ll leave those ‘Best’ calls to people who have reviewed every product in a given category and are in a position to determine what everyone should prefer in matters of taste, i.e. no one. Besting = Boasting.
As you’ll see, I’m going to be stingy with the Value Bird which entirely the point.
