Reliable's UberLight Frame: Task Lighting for Record Playing

I admit to being fussy about lighting. Most lights leave me cold as I prefer either minimal or whimsical and most the ornate fixtures in between seem unnecessarily baroque.

Reliable’s UberLight Frame fits the minimal, barely there aesthetic I enjoy (especially the black version, white is also an option) while offering scads of useful features and options designed with record spinners in mind. Features include a 360° swivel base to swing into or out of the work zone, more than 100 customizable settings with six brightness levels, three color temperatures (daylight, ultra bright, and warm light), 30° tilt adjustment, and six touch zones so you can tweak where the UberLight Frame shines its up to 600 Lumens of attention.

There are three mounting options—Clamp, Base, or Table Mount—and I opted for the Base which offers a nice sturdy foundation for the curved cast iron arm. Power comes via USB-C and a universal adapter into which you slide in your country’s included appropriate plug.

There’s also an included rechargeable remote that has a flashlight built in (nice touch!) making couch-based adjustment a breeze. To recharge, just ‘click’ the remote into the UberLight Frame’s built-in magnetic dock.

I was sent the UberLight Frame to live with and after a few months I can report that I’m enjoying its barely there aesthetic, very nice build quality, and rich feature set which have made it a Barn essential for playing records and setting the right light-colored mood into the wee hours.
