In Barn for Review: NAD M10 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier

Step 1: Connect the M10 V2 to your network. Step 2: attached speakers. Step 3. Play music.

That’s basically it. You may want to add some software-based services and set some features but getting started playing music on a hifi that contains the NAD M10 V2 BluOS Streaming Amplifier means — just add speakers.

In addition to WiFi, Ethernet, and aptX Bluetooth, you can connect up to two analog sources and three digital sources to the M10 including your eARC TV. A USB port provides for play back of files from USB storage, while a PRE OUT and SUB OUT (x2) allow for expansion.

The BluOS app also supports Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, AirPlay 2 with support for Siri Voice Assistant, Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant voice control, Control4, Crestron, and Lutron home automation systems, 4.1- or 4.2-channel Dolby Digital surround setup (just add more speakers), Dirac Live Room Correction, BluOS multi-room playback, and MQA. There’s much more to talk about in terms of features and settings, but we’ll dig into the manual stuff in the review proper.

The M10 V2 offers 100W per channel (into 8 and 4 Ohms) of output power from its Hybrid Digital nCore Amplifier, a 7″ IPS color LCD touchscreen display, and a space-friendly 8 1/2 x 3 15/16 x 10 1/4 inches form factor.

The only question remaining is — which speakers should I add? Stay tuned.
