HIGH END Munich 2025: A Complete totaldac System

Me and totaldacs, or is it totaldacs and I, have a long history dating back more than 12 years and I’ve owned one totaldac or another for 10 of ’em.

Vincent Brient, Mr. totaldac, was showing a complete totaldac system at last year’s Munich show, a system that easily made it onto my list of favorite rooms.

from HIGH END Munich 2024

For this year’s show, totaldac will be showing 3 new products—the d1-CD transport (6900euros excl VAT out of Europe), d1-streamer-live (10150euros excl VAT out of Europe), and the d1-total DAC/Streamer (26,200euros excl VAT out of Europe) the company’s “best one-box DAC offering”.

Here’s the rest of the totaldac system which you can see and hear in room F123 (Atrium 4.1) at HIGH END Munich 2025 from the totaldac  press release:

d1-switch
The ethernet switch which makes the sound more natural.

d1-player-mk2
Stores your music files and runs Roon and a UPNP media-server for Jplay app.

Amp1-sublime amplifiers
The reference Totaldac amplifier.

Black attenuator RCA interconnect, silver version
Adjusts the perfect gain of the system, the noise and the drive impedance.

Amp1-generator
The reference power network regenerator, better than any power filter.

d110 speakers
The reference speaker but quite compact and not so expensive.

full Totaldac cabling
Optimum cables at moderate price.

subwoofer prototype
A 18inch subwoofer filtered only under 35Hz.

Most tracks played in the Totaldac room will be taken from this Qobuz playlist and from some CDs:
