I reported on the release of Dynaudio’s new Contour 20 Black Edition and Confidence 20A Loudspeakers last month which will be making their North American public show premiers at Axpona 2025.
The contour 20 Black Edition ($8,000/pair, +599/pair w/optional stands) is a 2-way using the company’s top-of-the-range Esotar 3 tweeter mated with an 18cm/7″ NeoTec MSP (Magnesium Silicate Polymer) woofer with a claimed frequency response of 50Hz–23kHz (± 3 dB).
The new active 2-way Confidence 20A loudspeakers ($24,000/pair) feature the same Esotar 3 / 7″ NeoTec MSP woofer pairing as found in the Contour 20 Black Edition but here they’re powered by 400W (woofer) and 150W (tweeter) of Class-D power. And the cool part is all of the electronics—amps, DAC, DSP, etc.—are inside the included stands.
