The Phantom Ultimate 98 dB – Pulse Blue, released in collaboration with their Brand Ambassador and Formula 1 driver Isack Hadjar, are sold solo but they also work well as a stereo pair delivering a reported frequency response of 18Hz to 25kHz (±6 dB) and up to 98dB SPL levels. That’s impressive stuff coming from a small 6.6″H × 6.2″W × 8.6″D, 9.5 lb. ovoid sporting a single front-firing full-range aluminum dome driver and a pair of 4.5″ side-firing aluminum dome woofers powered by 400Watts of built-in amplification that combines “the linearity and refinement of analog amplification (Class A) with the power and compactness of digital (Class D).”
There’s a host of patented tech in play, support for AirPlay, Google Cast, Roon Ready, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and UPnP as well as Devialet’s own App, dedicated audio modes (Music, Podcast, Cinema, Neutral), a 6-band EQ, and Bass Reducer and Loudness functions to further tailor its sound to your taste.
