DENAFRIPS has hit a number of DACs and DDCs out of the park with a few landing on my Favorite Digital List so I’m excited to hear they’ve turned their attention and tech to a streamer.
Instead of going with an off-the-shelf pre-fab solution, DENAFRIPS decided to roll their own streaming module built on a Quad-Core AMR Cortex processor. And you can see the other nice bits packed inside including that big, fat O-Core transformer. Woof!

Digital outs include Optical, Coax, IS2, and AES while a pair of Clock Ins allows for pairing with an external clock like DENAFRIPS own TERRA or Aether Master Clock Generators. Those USB inputs are for firmware updates and USB storage (not USB DACs) or you use the TF Card slot to play back your SD card resident files. The Arce supports Roon Bridge (Roon Ready pending), HQPlayer NAA, Airplay, and DLNA but the company says they’re working on more options including Tidal Connect.

The DENAFRIPS Arce (yea—I’m thinking the same thing) comes in at $1,008.81USD and is ready for pre-orders from Vinshine Audio.
