For Axpona 2026, Andrew Jones and his partners Jamie and Bill Cerreta will debut a new Jones-designed low-slung floorstanding speaker that features a field coil concentric driver.
Curiosity piqued? It would and should be if you know of Jones’ long and storied career designing speakers for TAD, Pioneer, ELAC, KEF, and MoFi Electronics.

Based on an Instagram post, the speaker appears to be called Troubadour bringing old world charm and thoughts of lyrically inspired love to the mix but so far there’s not much information beyond what I just said and what you can glean from a few photos. One thing we can surmise is a field coil concentric driver and that lovely curved (walnut?) cabinet will put the price of the Troubadour well above other recent Jones designs for MoFi.

You can read more about the company, Jones and Cerreta, on their website and check out the Troubadour in person at Axpona in Room 302. I’ll be there!

There’s also a brief intro video of the Troubadour from Andrew Jones on Facebook.
