I visited three rooms sponsored by Axiss Audio with Gauder Akustik’s exceptional loudspeakers and even though Room 1628 had the smallest floorstander, the Capello 100 which I recently reviewed (and loved), it grabbed my attention the mostest.
From that review: “The Gauder Akustik Capello 100s moved onto my short list of favorites within favorites soon after their arrival.”

Paired with electronics from Soulution’s 3 Series, this system exhibited most of the strengths I noted in my review of the Capello 100 as well as my review of the Soulution 331 Integrated amp including extraordinary dynamics, superb clarity without a hint of edginess, and very well controlled bass. Full range without the pain.

The system:
Transrotor Bellini TMD Turntable: $10,375
Soulution 360 DAC: $24,975
Soulution 350 Phono Stage: $21,975
Soulution 326 Preamplifier: $32,975
Soulution 312 Stereo Amplifier: $28,975
Telos Power products
Cables from Tara Labs

The other Gauder Akustik speakers I heard at Axpona all shared these strengths, with the bigger speakers in bigger systems and rooms adding more.

I also had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Roland Gauder and his passion and enthusiasm were truly infectious as was his singing along with Freddie Mercury during Queen’s “Bicycle Race”. Bravo!
