The Ideon IΩN DAC ($17,900/$22,000 w/Preamp) is a fully balanced design and inherits most of its tech from the company’s flagship Absolute Epsilon DAC.
The IΩN sat in a system comprised of the Ideon Absolute Stream ($19,900), Ideon Master Time ($3,950), and McGary Audio SA1E Amplifier ($6600) all sitting on an Artesania Rack ($4,600) with cables from Stealth Audio.
A pair of amorphous Vivid Audio Kaya 90 Loudspeakers ($26,000/pair) brought music into the room and this smaller system, compared to the other Audio Skies room, shared some of its sibling’s sonic traits including crystal clear transparency and a richly textured lively sound. Nice!
