And here I thought I was reporting on the new ‘Altec Lansing’ 300B mono amps on active display at CAF 2024, pictured above top left, offered at a special intro price of $3500/pair.
How about $378.12? How about BRZHIFI Audio?
While all I know is what you see in the opening image, it’s enough to know something is fishy. Couple that with the absence of marketing materials at CAF—or on the Altec website—relating to the products on display plus the skimpy on info press release that contained not a single photo or price, and something feels wrong. As in, not right. Bad, even.
For now, and until I learn more—some sort of explanation and/or get more details—my enthusiasm for the return of Altec Lansing has been snuffed out (and I’ve removed the related posts).
Buyer beware.
