Sorry’s album Anywhere But Here has been bringing a smile to my face and twisted skip to my step since its release last year.
I love everything about Anywhere But Here—the lyrics run from amusing to chuckle-worthy to laugh out loud to cry inside while the execution in song from vocalists/multi-instrumentalists (and childhood friends) Asha Lorenz and Louis O’Bryen backed by drummer Lincoln Barrett and bassist Campbell Baum is catchy as all get-out, a lovely mix of experimental propulsive crunchy pop with enough edge (and tongue in cheek) to keep things interesting.
