Spirit of Eden to be specific, and not as a this is better than that posturing but rather The Foel Tower has that same kind of expansive, exploratory feel. The kind of record that seems as if the band, friends since childhood in Quade’s case, dug into every nook and cranny, past and present, of a vast and endless landscape to wrench out a beautiful mysterious story in song and sound.
