We first visited Polish guitarist Raphael Rogiński and his album Plays John Coltrane and Langston Hughes back in 2024.
Here on Nocturnal Consolations Rogiński is joined by Slovenian multi-instrumentalist Iztok Koren on banjos, guembri, steel drum, kalimba, effects, harmonium, and analog synth and as you might deduce from these elements, Nocturnal Consolations is an acoustic feast for those times when you want to disconnect, slow things down and rejoin the world of subtle small moments which, when taken in for the full album’s length, become all-encompassing.
