Best known for her work as Grouper, Helen finds Harris (guitar, vocals) paired with Scott Simmons (bass) and Jed Bindeman (drums) for Linda’s Head, their 2nd full length coming some 11 years on.
The sound of this record, and much of Grouper, is a big swell. Globs of sound energy with each element bleeding together as if the product of some kind of metamorphosis. Detached from the day-today sounding at once far away and intimate.
